FSI Takes Part in Financial Literacy Event in Florida

As part of our ongoing effort to make a positive impact in communities across the country, FSI took part in another successful financial literacy event recently at Killian Senior High School in Kendall, Fla. To put on the event, Robert E. Lewis, Jr., FSI Vice President of Legislative Affairs, teamed up with representatives from FSI broker-dealer member Investacorp and U.S. Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL).

Rep. Wilson is the founder of 5,000 Role Models, a non-profit mentoring organization that has successfully inspired over 6,000 young men from the inner city to prepare for college and to make wise financial decisions through financial literacy training. The presentation was well received by the students, and FSI was invited to participate in a similar event next year.
